As you may know, my
friend Rob Cohane is running for school committee and I hope you will consider
supporting him! Rob grew up in
Worcester, attended Worcester Public Schools and received a B.A. from Clark
University.Rob and his wife, Kenya, have two boys who attend the Worcester
Public Schools.
Rob participates in the Site Council and the Parent Teacher Group at Worcester Arts Magnet School. For the past several years Rob has also been a leader on the Worcester Public Schools Citywide Parent Planning Advisory Council (CPPAC) and he is currently the groups co-chairperson. In this role with CPAC Rob has worked with me to fight for adequate school funding, worked to promote parent involvement and he has been a passionate advocate for our teachers and students.
Rob is currently employed as a Quality Engineering for a Massachusetts based Medical Device company. He has twenty plus years of experience working in industry and knows what skills our students need to succeed in today’s economy.
