I wanted to share the thoughtful editorial that was in yesterdays Telegram regarding Peter Stefan and his funeral home stepping forward to take the body of terrorist bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev. All of us were deeply saddened and horrified b...y the terrible bombing in Boston and I believe our focus should be on supporting the families of the victims. But, I also believe that attacks on Mr. Stefan are wrong. Mr. Stefan is doing what he has always done as a funeral home director, namely, stepping forward to bury those whom others will not. Mr. Stefan has always been there to bury the homeless and the addicts who are forgotten by their families, the poor and immigrants who have no money and even murders, rapists and others who have done evil deeds. Mr. Stefan is a good and honorable man who has dedicated his life to his vocation and in doing so has helped countless people in this city. I and many others are grateful for his service to the people of Worcester. Click here to read the Editorial
